On the 13th of September I was staying over in Salford for work, I had messaged an old school friend, Andrew Green, who is now the Executive Chef at The Lowry Hotel, a 5-star contemporary hotel in Manchester, asking if I could come meet up with him and take some photos of the food and his team.
Thankfully he said yes.
The evening flew by with me getting to photograph some amazing and talented people creating beautiful looking, and even better tasting foodie masterpieces.
Its amazing what a spur of the moment message can achieve.
As a thank you to Andrew and his team I decided to send them a photo book, as a photographer I love to see my work printed and presented beautifully, this time I decided to try SAAL.
I have seen SAAL advertising on social media a few times offering a welcome voucher to photographers who wish to trial the service.
After sending off for the trial voucher and being accepted, I decided to order the standard photobook.
Downloading and installing the SAAL Design Software was incredibly easy.
I have tested a number of photobook layout programs (many of them terrible) over the past few years and I did not know what to expect with SAAL Design ,I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use and the extensive layout options available.
I quickly, quicker than normal, managed to put together a really impressive and professional looking photobook layout.
The book arrived really quickly and is a really good, high quality product.
The big question is will I use SAAL again? Yes I will.
